As I was setting up this blog and trying to learn all about what I needed to do to make it look like me, I realized that there elements of design on blogs that I need to take the time to learn. So, I have spent the first hour of this evening setting up this blog. Follow along with me as I give advice on all areas related to business ownership, share my journey with you, learn from you as my audience and hope that you will pass on the words of wisdom to others who may be pursuing their dreams, having a fear of risking themselves and not succeeding.
My goal is to share with you about my journey, share about the obstacles and how I found resolutions, talk about the heartaches and the disappointments and the accomplishments and the perseverance that kept me going. I received an email from an alumni at Kent who majored in PR but did not pursue her goal of working in the industry and wondered what she should do now. My advice: Don't give up on your dream. Start now and decide what you want to do and determine the path you will need to take and be confident that you will do what you dream of doing.
You get what you envision each day or what you think you will get or not get. If you think that you are nothing, then nothing is what you will get. So, be confident and know that each of us have skills and gifts that make us unique. Perform to your maximum and give all that you can.
